International Fuel Technology Hires North American Sales Manager

ST. LOUIS, January 17, 2007 – International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT) (OTCBB: IFUE) today announced that Steve Kirkham has joined IFT. Mr. Kirkham will be responsible for all of IFT’s sales and marketing efforts in North America.

Mr. Kirkham, 40, has over 15 years of experience selling specialty chemicals and fuel additives into the European, Middle Eastern and U.S. markets. Most recently he worked for Infineum USA L.P. in Houston, TX where he was responsible for the marketing and sales of new products to the oil refining industry. Mr. Kirkham earned his degree in chemistry from Liverpool JM University in the U.K.

Gary Kirk, IFT’s Director of Sales and Marketing, said, “We are excited to have someone with Steve’s qualifications decide to join IFT. His experience and technical competence will be a huge asset to IFT. His appointment is another important step in IFT’s development as we set the stage to broaden the commercial acceptance of our products.”
