International Fuel Technology, Inc. Receives “No Harm” Certification From The AGQM For PerfoLiFT™ BD-4

Wednesday, 06 July 2011 07:25
ST. LOUIS, July 6, 2011 – International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT) (OTCBB: IFUE) announced that PerfoLiFT™ BD-4 received the “No Harm & Relative Efficiency” certification from the AGQM under its renowned “No-Harm and Efficiency” program. PerfoLiFT™ BD-4 is another of the PerfoLiFT™ BD-Series formulations to receive this coveted certification.
The PerfoLiFT™ BD-Series is a group of scientifically engineered liquid fuel additive formulations specifically designed to provide superior oxidation stability, long term storage stability, and deposit formation control to bio-diesel and bio-diesel fuel blends.

The Association for the Quality of Bio-diesel, or AGQM (its German acronym), is an independent German-based organization formed in 1999 to monitor the quality of bio-diesel. Though not an official international specification, the AGQM’s “No Harm and Relative Efficiency” certification has become the de facto standard of reference for the qualification of stabilizers meeting the demanding requirements of the bio-diesel industry. A large and increasing number of bio-diesel producing countries now require the AGQM “No Harm” certification for products entering their bio-diesel oxidation stabilizer markets.

“With both PerfoLiFT™ BD-3 and PerfoLiFT™ BD-4 now being certified under the coveted “No Harm” program from the AGQM, it is clear signal that our PerfoLiFT™ BD-Series of additives is well positioned to capitalize on the growing consumption of bio-diesel worldwide and a strong message to the industry regarding the efficacy of our technology,” said Axel Farhi, IFT’s Director of Global Business Development. “The PerfoLiFT™ BD-Series can be tailor made to address stability issues associated with bio-diesel source materials of any kind. We believe we have one of the top performing, if not the top performing, series of fuel additive formulations for providing superior oxidation stability, long term storage stability, and deposit formation control to bio-diesel and bio-diesel fuel blends.”
