Tuesday, 26 July 2011 07:49
ST. LOUIS, July 26, 2011 – International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT) (OTCBB:IFUE) announced today that Brazilian bio-diesel manufacturer Bio Capital, made its first purchase of IFT’s PerfoLiFT™ BD-7 through IFT distribution partner Next Group Brazil. PerfoLiFT™ BD-7 is part of the PerfoLiFT™ BD-Series of fuel additive formulations that provides superior oxidation stability and deposit formation control especially to bio-diesel made from animal fat.
Bio Capital, a private company located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is among Brazil’s three largest producers of bio-diesel with current annual capacity of 280,000 tons. The company employs state-of-the-art process technology to make bio-diesel primarily from animal fat, and also from soybean oil.

“With its diverse and sometimes unstable feed sources, the Brazilian bio-diesel market has provided IFT with a number of commercial opportunities for our PerfoLiFT™ BD-Series,” said Dr. Sergio C. Trindade, IFT’s Director of Science and Technology.
