ST. LOUIS, June 14, 2011 – International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT) (OTCBB: IFUE) announced that its German-based distribution partner, Nordmann Rassmann (“NRC”), has been successfully marketing DiesoLiFT™ 10 to numerous European rail operators. Through the efforts of NRC’s affiliates in central Europe, IFT will begin field demonstration and validation processes with rail operators in Romania (Regiotrans), Poland (PKP LHS) and The Czech Republic (Ceske Drahy) in 2011.
The success of IFT’s rail R&D in the U.K., and the extensive and compelling data supporting the efficacy of DiesoLiFT™ 10 in rail engine applications, has generated interest among rail operators all over Europe. With the high cost of diesel fuel, a 5% reduction in fuel consumption by using DiesoLiFT™ 10 is a compelling economic benefit to the end user.
“Nordmann Rassmann has been a very productive distribution partner for IFT,” said Axel Farhi, IFT’s Director, Global Business Development. “They have been successfully marketing DiesoLiFT™ 10 to rail operators throughout Europe. In addition to Romania, Poland and The Czech Republic, we expect Nordmann Rassmann to arrange as many as eight or more commercial opportunities with rail operators in 2011 and 2012.”
NRC (www.nrc.de) is a prominent distributor of specialty chemicals, lubricants and fuel additives. NRC sells its portfolio of high quality products throughout Germany, Austria, Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Switzerland. IFT and NRC signed a marketing and distribution agreement in 2008. NRC has distribution rights to sell IFT products in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria.
